At the end of May Rickitt Mitchell were delighted to attend Rainmaker Copenhagen - the 37th M&A Worldwide Convention.
Across the globe, the business environment is seeing a higher level of complexity and integration, and after a long period where people hadn't been able to meet in person, it was the perfect opportunity to catch up with our international colleagues on the latest business developments in their regions. We were also delighted to meet delegates from our two new member firms Kontakt from Iceland and Sigma Catalyst Partners from Greece.

Each market has its own key dynamics, leading players and core value drivers. The close relationships we have built with our international colleagues, allow us to quickly and easily access this local expertise to ensure our clients acheive best value.
Kaine Smith delivered a presentation on European M&A trends, joining a wider panel discussion alongside our Japanese, Brazilian, Indian and US colleagues.
Deal volume levels within M&A Worldwide increased to 567 deals in 2021 (+67% since 2017), representing a cumulative deal value of 9.6 Billion Euros. In total, deal value showed a staggering increase of 194% in 2021.
We are currently actively collaborating with our international colleagues on numerous interesting transactions, across the technology, healthcare, food and beverage and manufacturing spaces.
The next M&A Worldwide Convention will be held in Bangkok in November 2022.
