Independent boutique corporate finance advisory firm, Rickitt Mitchell, has appointed Anant Kapoor as partner.

Formerly a Managing Director at Lincoln International, Anant also previously worked at Canaccord Genuity, and Rothschild & Co. He is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with EY.

Subsectors of expertise include digital innovation, software development, systems integration and IT managed services, as well as software, marketplaces and broader professional services and consultancies. With extensive experience across both sell-side and buy-side domestic and cross-border transactions, Anant has completed deals with values ranging from £20m - £250m plus. Clients have spanned private equity funds, and both public and privately held businesses.

Anant joins Rickitt Mitchell having recently led the merger of JustPark, one of the UK’s leading app-based parking platforms, with the private equity backed ParkHub, a US-based parking solutions provider. Anant played a pivotal role in the transaction, helping to create a full-service parking software and payments solution provider for customers across both geographies.

Other notable transactions include the sales of the Bridgepoint backed one.network to Causeway, the Chiltern Capital backed VIMA to KBR and Huddle to Ideagen, as well as WestBridge’s acquisition of Eque2 from LDC, and Livingbridge’s acquisition of FluidOne.

Anant further strengthens Rickitt Mitchell’s capabilities, particularly across the technology and business services sectors. In addition, having spent 15 years in the London advisory market he deepens the firm’s relationships with those clients and private equity funds that are based in the region, yet are increasingly looking to invest in other locations.
